The Scott Sutherland School respects and considers it’s history while always looking to the future. The society feels this is reflective in the work the school produces, where creative freedom is truly placed in the hands of the students. Students can use the great assets like the workshop and machinery to expand their skills in craft and traditional model making or dive into the future technologies and softwares with an array of 3D printers, computer labs, routers, laser cutters and virtual reality now available in school labs. Having moved from the original Scott Sutherland School to a new, fit-for-purpose and bespoke building in the Garthdee Campus 5 years ago, the students have now settled into their new spaces. The inspiring and historic Royal Deeside views of rural landscape and woodlands, the Scott Sutherland School offers a fantastic studio life for all those who attend.
